If friends are coming over for an aperitif, you’ll feel more like chatting than busying yourself at the stoves!
These mini flat breads with crunchy apple slices and thread cheese are the perfect compromise between tasty treat and fast preparation: it’ll take you a wink of an eye to make them, leaving you all the time to spend a pleasant evening with your company.
Ingredients for 4 persons
Mini flat breads (or mini tortillas) | 8
Roast turkey | 8 slices
Emmental or Cheddar cheese | 8 slices
Cored and finely cut Modì apples | 1-2
Dijon mustard q.s.
Preparation
Spread a thin layer of mustard on the flatbreads, add the cheese slices on top. Place the flatbreads in a very hot non-stick pan (without oil). Scatter some apple slices on top of one half of the flatbreads. When the cheese melts, add the turkey slices and fold the flatbreads, with the help of a palette knife, forming a half-moon shape.
Warm them for a few seconds more on both sides and serve hot.
