Back to school in September!
Homework is more fun with these sweet little bread owls, fresh fruit and Modì apples for a snack. They can be made with hazelnut or cocoa cream, with almond butter or peanut butter, and the fruit can vary according to taste and season. There’s just one ingredient however that must always be included: a juicy, delicious Modì apple!
Ingredients for For 4 little owls
Preparation
Take 4 slices of sandwich bread (or brioche) and spread a thin layer of hazelnut cream or almond or peanut butter. To make the owls: on each slice place two banana slices and two blueberries to make the eyes, then cut a Modì apple in quarters and cut thin slices to place on the bread to create the wings. Finish off with a toasted hazelnut (or an almond or a nut) for the beak and a few apple sticks for the legs. Happy snacking!
