Baking paper allows us to bake fruit while maintaining all its juiciness and flavour. These parcels, to open when served, conceal pulpy berries and apple slices sweetened with a few drops of thyme honey.
An extremely simple and natural dessert that enhances the taste of fruit.
Ingredients for 4 people
3 tubs of mixed berries (raspberries, redcurrants, blueberries…)
2 Modì® apples, cored and sliced
4 tablespoons of thyme honey
Preparation
Prepare the baking paper parcels: take four sheets of squared baking paper and at the centre of each sheet place a few slices of apple and a handful of mixed berries, sweeten the fruit with a tablespoon of honey. Wrap the baking paper in candy-shaped parcels. If you wish, you may tie the ends of the parcels using cooking thread.
Bake the fruit parcels at 200°C (392°F) for around 10 minutes.
Serve: place the parcels on flat dishes and serve closed. You can accompany them with vanilla ice-cream or custard.
